Optimization of Physical Parameters and Analysis of Rock Movement and Deformation Patterns in Deep Strip Mining

China’s shallow coal resources are gradually diminishing, and deep have slowly become the main energy source. However, destruction mechanism evolution of rock formation structure not clear, which seriously restricts exploitation utilization energy. Here, optimization physical parameters deformation law overlying in a mine Shandong Province were studied with an integrated approach including similar simulation, mechanical analysis, numerical measurement verification, etc. First, paper simplified developed model using field exploration data; second, we analyzed properties each formation, obtaining key that affects surface mining area. Furthermore, tested by orthogonal test, optimizing extreme difference, variance analysis test results. Then, FLAC3D, conducted calculations for strip wells numerous working faces, analyzing maximum subsidence value, horizontal movement value ground at different depths, change coefficient. By linkage relationship between phenomenon mining, obtained optimal mathematical three seam depth, revealed “deep formation–earth surface”. Finally, relationships influence boundary depth layer separately established.
